Dark brown thread DB = Dark Brown
Black thread B = Black
Grey thread BLO = back loop only
Keychain ring FLO = front loop only
Every round needs to be joined for this pattern. So at the beginning of every round, sl st in the 1st st, pull tight, ch 1, pull tight, then make the 1st stitch of the round in the same stitch as the sl st, ch1 was made in. This will keep the bird from being twisted.
If you want to make the larger sparrow, use size 10 crochet thread
