Mini Lowly Worm Key-chain

This worm is a character from Richard Scarry's Busytown books. I made it to be my sister's key-chain mascot.
I found a pattern for an 18" Lowly Worm here, and used embroidery thread instead of yarn and a size 10 crochet hook. I used 1 strand of embroidery thread.

I think if I make it again the only thing I would do differently is make the shoe a little taller and make the pants a little longer. I put a pipe-cleaner in the body to make it bendable. Just be careful and cut the pipe-cleaner longer rather than shorter. I cut it too short and the head is a little wobbly.
Ready to travel!
This is after 6 months of extensive traveling

He's bendable

Knit Headband with Crocheted Flower

It doesn't really matter what size yarn you use because there aren't a specific number of rows.

Headband:
Cast on 8 St.
Knit for as many rows as you need to fit around the head (about 16 in. long).
Cast off.
Sew ends together.

Sl st = Slip Stitch

Sc = Single Crochet
Ch = Chain
Flower:
Round 1: 5sc in magic circle, Sl st in 1st sc.
Round 2: *Ch 3, sl st in next st. Repeat from * around. For the last ch, sl st into the 1st st of the 1st ch.
Round 3: *Ch 5 (make sure the 1st chain is loose enough), skip the ch, sl st in the base of the next ch. Repeat from * around.
Cut the yarn and finish off.
Pull the tail through the 2nd round through the back (so it is sticking out the front), then pull it through the center hole (so it is in the back).
Sew on to headband.

Hedgehog or Guinea Pig

This is a hedgehog I made from this pattern

Hedgehog
Because I used white and brown yarn instead of the original colors, I got mixed up and accidentally made an inverted hedgehog first. I think this one looks more like a guinea pig.
Guinea Pig

Monkey

This is the first animal I ever made. It was from the book Learn to Crochet Toys.

Mini Amigurumi Bunny Rabbits

I made a family of Mini Bunny Rabbits for a little girl I know.
I used the Bouncing Bunnies pattern from this book but used size 10 crochet thread and varied from the pattern a little bit.

Use size 10 yarn
