The soles are about .25” longer and wider than the finished shoe.

Size 3 DK yarn & 3.5mm hook

3-6 Month Soles: The finished shoe is 4” long and 2-2.25” wide

Ch 13
1: dc in 3rd ch from hook, then dc in each of next 9 st. 6 dc in last st. Working on the opposite side of the chain, dc in next 9 st, 5 dc in last st, join with sl st to 1st hdc. (30 st)
(Should measure barely over 2.5”)

2: sl st in next st, ch 1, beginning in same st, 9 hdc, 2 hdc in each of the next 6 st, 9 hdc, 2 hdc in each of the next 5 st, 2 hdc in sl st, join to 1st hdc with sl st. (42)
(Barely over 3”)

3: *From now on, the 1st stitch of each round will be in the same stitch as the (sl st, ch 1).*
Ch 1, 9 hdc, (2 hdc, 1 hdc in next st)*3, (1 hdc, 2 hdc in next st)*3, 9 hdc, (2 hdc, 1 hdc in next st)*3, (1 hdc, 2 hdc in next st)*3, join with sl st. (54) (3.5”)

4: ch 1, 9 sc, (sc, sc, 2 sc in next st)*3, (2 sc in next st, sc, sc)*3, 9 sc, (sc, sc, 2 sc in next st)*3, (2 sc in next st, sc, sc)*3, sl st (66) (barely over 4")

5: ch 1, BLO sc around. (66) (4 3/8” long & 2.25-2.5” wide)
Either finish off or continue top of the shoe with the desired pattern.
