Size 3 DK yarn & 3.5mm hook
Sole:
Make the Newborn sole then, without finishing off, follow the Top pattern below.
Top:
1: Ch 1, in both loops, sc around, join with sl st (50)
2: ch 2, 2 hdc, 6 sc, (ch1, sk2, dc,)*6, ch 1, sk 2, 6 sc, 7 hdc, 2 hdc2tog, 5 hdc, join with sl st (41)
3: BLO around, ch 1, 6 sc, hdc2tog, 6 dc2tog, hdc2tog, 19 sc, join with sl st - (33) finish off
Strap:
In 6th St from the middle front, starting with a standing sc, ch 13
Dc in back loop of 3rd ch from hook, dc in next 2 st, 1 hdc, 7 sc, sc in shoe & pull thread through. Finish off.
Add a button to the other side of the shoe.
