Crochet Penguin Pacifier Clip

I revised the penguin pattern from this pattern then added the strap and clip.

Penguin: In white
Ch 4
1. Beginning in 2nd ch, sc across - 3
2. Ch 1, turn, inc, sc, inc - 5
3. Ch 1, turn, 2 sc, inc, 2 sc - 6
4-9. Ch 1, turn, sc across - 6
10. Ch 1, turn, 3 dec - 3
11. Ch 1, turn, sc across - 3
12. Ch 1, turn, 3 inc - 6
13-15. Ch 1, turn, sc across - 6
16. Ch 1, turn, 1 sc, 3 dc in next st, 2 sc, 3 dc in next, 1 sc
17. This is the general pattern for single crocheting around the penguin: 4 sc, sl st (in narrow part of neck), (2 sc, inc)*3, (this should be working across the bottom:) inc, sc, inc, (inc, 2 sc)*3, sl st (in narrow part of neck), 4 sc, sl st in the base of row 16, finish off.

In black:
Joining in the sc after the sl st in the neck, 29 sc (this should bring you up to the sl st in the other side of the neck), sl st in sl st, 4 sc, 2 sc in next st, 2 hdc in next st, 2 dc in each of the next 2 st, (to make the peak, in the next 2 st dc, dc2tog, dc), 2 dc in each of the next 2 st), 2 hdc in next st, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 4 st, sl st in sl st and finish off.

Wings: In black
In 7th stitch from the narrow part of the neck, attach yarn with a slip stitch and chain 6.
Turn, sc in 4th ch from hook, hdc, 2 dc, (you will now be working in the actual penguin - and the next stitch will be made into the same stitch that you joined with a sl st in) 2 dc in each of the next 3 st, hdc in each of the next 2 stitches, sc, sl st, finish off.

Embroider on the eyes and beak

Strap: You can make the strap using any bookmark pattern. After you finish, attach the thread to the middle stitch, chain a chain long enough for the clip to fit through, then attach the end of the chain to the strap, creating a loop.

Attach the clip to the top of the head by sc across and through the clip rod.

For the ribbon, I used this pattern. Attach your black thread as described below, then follow the bookmark pattern, alternating between black and white rows.

In black, starting 3 st left of the center of the nose, attach thread and ch 50 (or however long you want your paci chain to be).
Continue with bookmark pattern.

Loop
In the center of the end of the paci ribbon, attach black thread, make a chain until it's long enough to be able to go through a paci handle, and attach it in a loop to the paci ribbon.

Embroider eyes, a smile, a tuft of hair, and sew on the clip. :-)

Airplane Crochet Patten

This airplane has a nice little seat to add a rider!
The only thing I'd try to change if I made the airplane again is make the decrease rows of the nose (rounds 14-17) and seat (rounds 8-11) tighter so they don't bulge inward. On this "model", a lot of the seat is filled in by the decrease rows.

Using size 4 yarn (both white and blue), a size G/6-4.00 mm hook, and a button

The nose, windshield (this part is made with a different color), seat, and tail are all crocheted without needing to sew any pieces together.

*UPDATED* Farmer Dog in Bib Overalls Stuffed Animal Crochet Pattern

I made this dog and pattern a while back, but in the original post, I noted some changes I'd make if I ever made the dog again. I made another dog and here's the updated pattern. (I did leave the old pattern on the blog, but only for reference. This pattern is much better.)
One thing I did with this puppy is I gave it hinging legs so it could sit down (I used buttons for the hinges).

Dog Pattern:
Using Size 4 yarn and a size G/6-4.00 MM hook

Inc - For this pattern it always means 2 sc in 1 stitch.
Dec - For this pattern it always means sc2tog.
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
sc2tog - sc 2 together
BLO - back loop only
FLO - front loop only

35: (1 sc, Dec) around - 10
Finish stuffing

Overall Pattern

Front panel:
Ch 11
1: Beginning in 3rd ch, dc across - 9
2: ch 2, turn, dc across - 9
Finish off.

Waist:
3: ch 29, sl st across the 9 dcs of row 2, ch 6, (making sure the chains aren't twisted) join the chains together with a slip stitch.
4-11: ch 2, beginning in stitch you made the sl st in dc across, join to top of ch with a sl st - 44
12: (this round will vary a bit depending on the placement of the tail) ch 2, dc 8, ch 5, (skip 5 stitches), dc 31 - 44
13: ch 2, dc 44 across - 44

First leg:
14:ch 2, dc 11, ch 7, (skip 22 st) dc 11, sl st to top of 1st st.
15: ch 2, dc 11, (only crochet in back loop of ch so the other leg can be crocheted in front loop) dc 7 across chain, dc 11
16: ch 1, sc around - finish off

Second leg: I started mine in the middle of the inside part of the leg so the seam wouldn't show. However, you could start anywhere on the leg and adjust the pattern accordingly.
1: working in the front loop of the chain, ch 2 in middle (4th) stitch (this counts as your 1st dc) then dc around - 29 (in the 5th dc - the 1st st in the back of the pants - I noticed a hole between the legs. So I made a dc2tog going through the st of the other leg and went on. I did the same for the front leg join.)
2: sl st 4, 22 dc, sl st 3
3: sl st in 1st st & ch 1, sc 29 - finish off

Straps: with the back of the dog facing me, I did the right strap first. I counted back from the edge of the front panel and attached my strap between st 13 & 14. For the left strap, I counted back from the edge of the front panel and attached my strap between st 14 & 15.

Attach yarn & ch 20
Starting in 3rd ch from hook & working in back of chain: 6 dc, hdc, 9 sc, attach to next stitch in overalls.

Sew buttons onto front of overalls.

Baby Puppy Dog Binkie Pacifier Clip Crochet Pattern

Here is a pattern I created for a puppy dog paci clip.

back
Back

I used size 10 crochet thread and a size 10 hook.
You can make it as long or short as you want, but I made mine about 6" long plus the little loop at the end for the paci.

Face:
1. 6 SC in mc.
2. Inc around. - 12
3. (Inc, SC)*6 around - 18
4. (Inc, 2 sc)*6 - 24
5. (Inc, 3 sc)*6 - 30
6. (Inc, 4 SC)*6 - 36
7. (Inc, 5 SC)*6 - 42
8. (Inc, 6 SC)*3, SC, beginning in same st, insert hook, pull up loop, then pull yo through alligator clip rod (see photo) and finish sc. Repeat 7x, SC in same stitch as previous but don't crochet through the clip rod, (Inc, 6 SC)*2 - 48

Finish off

(This pattern is for the smile of the face near the clip. For the face flipped away from the clip, follow the pattern below this one.)
Ear: 2x
You'll start the ear in the 8th stitch from the last stitch you made around the clip rod.
For the right ear you'll be working from the front side of the face and for the left ear you'll be working from the back side.
In black,
Sl st, ch 1, 10 SC
turn, sk 1st st, sl st in next, SC in next 3, hdc, 2dc in next 2 st, 2 tc in next, 3tc+SC in last st
Sl st in base where 1st ear st started, turn, SC, 3 Inc, 10 sc, 2 SC in last + sl st in base.
For the Right ear, Finish off
For the Left ear, SC across so there aren't any white spaces. Should be about 8 st.

(This pattern is for the smile of the face flipped away from the clip.)
Ear:2x
Starting in 1st st after the clip,
Sc 11
Turn, ch 1, sl st & 3tc in 1st, 2 tc in next, 2 dc in next 2 st, hdc, sc in next 4 st, sl st, finish off

Chain:
1. Turn, (ch 3, sk 2, sl st)*3 - depending on how many stitches you had across, you may need to vary the stitches skipped. Just make sure you have 3 loops when you're finished.
2. Turn, puff stitch (as big as desired. I did 5 yo) in each loop, sl st in base of last loop.
3. Turn, 4 puff st across
4. Turn, 3 puff st across, sl st in side of previous row
Repeat 3 & 4 until desired length.
Paci Loop: Turn, sl st, sl st, ch as many as desired (30-40?), sl st in same st, sl st
Finish off, weave in ends, and embroider face.

Baby Bib Crochet Pattern

Here is a baby bib pattern I created.
There are 2 versions. The 1st version (red, green, & white bib) was made with sc for the bib has a wider neck strap and the neck opening is a bit smaller. I did hdc for the bib part of version 2.
The dimensions for version 1 are:
Bib - 6.5" in diameter
Inside of neck opening - 3.25"

The dimensions for version 2 are:
Bib - 6.5" in diameter
Inside of neck opening - a little over 3.5"

6-9 Month Baby Tennis Shoes Booties

I made these booties using a different sole than normal, but they should be easy to modify for my other size soles.

I loosely based my soles off of this pattern and the top off this pattern. The toe and upper patterns are a bit confusing, so it's helpful to look at the pictures from the pattern I based the upper part off of.

These shoes ended up being 4.5" long and 2.25" wide
Size 3 DK yarn & a 3.5 mm hook

Sole:
1: Ch 10, 2 hdc in 2nd chain from hook, hdc in next 7 st, 6 hdc in last st, 7 hdc in back loop of ch, 2 hdc in last st - 24

2: *From now on, the 1st stitch of each round will be in the same stitch as the (sl st, ch 1).*
Join with sl st, ch 1, 2 hdc in each of next 2 st, 7 hdc, 2 hdc in each of next 6 st, 7 hdc, 2 hdc in each of next 2 st - 34

3: join with sl st, ch 1, (2 hdc in st, 1 hdc in next st)*2, 7 hdc, (2 hdc in st, 1 hdc in next st)*6, 7 hdc, (2 hdc in st, 1 hdc in next st)*2 - 44

4: join with sl st, ch 1, (2 hdc in st, 1 hdc, 1 hdc)*2, 7 hdc, (2 hdc in st, 1 hdc, 1 hdc)*6, 7 hdc, (2 hdc in st, 1 hdc, 1 hdc)*2 - 54

Upper part:
5: join with sl st, ch 1, BPhdc around - 54
6: join with sl st, ch 1, hdc around - 54
7: join with sl st, ch 1, sc around - 54
Finish off

Toe:
Mark off front 26 st, then begin at front right marker. *Keep markers in for later*
8: ch3, (dc2tog)*12, 1 dc in last st, turn - 14
9: ch3, (dc2tog)*7, 1 dc in last st, turn - 9
10: ch 1, sc8tog, pull knot tight, then finish off.

Tongue:
11: Beginning at front, right side, ch 1, 12 sc evenly across toe, turn - 12
12: ch 1, sc in same st, 1sc in each st across, turn. - 12
13: ch1, sc in same st, 1sc in next 10sts, 2 sc in last st, turn - 13
14-15: repeat row 13
16-18: repeat row 12
Finish off

Upper shoe:
Counting from the right marker 2 st towards toe, join yarn

Baby Booties Tennis Shoes

I used this pattern for my shoes:
https://crochetcrosiahome.blogspot.com/2016/08/crochet-baby-converse-booties.html?m=0

My yarn was DK weight, size 3 yarn, and I used a 3.5mm E hook, so my dimensions ended up being:
3.5" long, 2" wide, 2.5" tall
I ended up using leather thong for the laces.
